Fusav di Bini & Baroni

Fusav di Bini & Baronio was a short-lived Italian firearms manufacturer that produced replica percussion revolvers in the late 1970s using the maker’s mark BFB in a circle with the F above the two B’s.. While information about this company is scarce, we can piece together a few details.

Fusav di Bini & Baronio was founded on October 13, 1977. The company appears to have been in operation for only a brief period, primarily manufacturing replica firearms for export to the United States. The company is known to have produced replicas of classic American percussion revolvers that were imported by several American importers of the period.   It's not known the specific date they went out of business, but it was sometime in the late 1980's it seems. The last seen proof date code was AU or 1989.

It's worth noting that Fusav di Bini & Baronio operated during a time when several Italian manufacturers were producing replica firearms for the American market. Their brief existence and the rarity of their products make them an interesting footnote in the history of Italian replica firearms manufacturing.

Fusav di Bini & Baronio produced firearms for export to the United States through importers such as FIE (Firearms Import Export) and Hawes Firearms Co., that we know of, in the late 1970’s. During this period, several Italian manufacturers were producing replica firearms for the American market, often with minimal markings to appeal to importers and retailers.

Firearms produced by Fusav di Bini & Baronio are considered rare. and the very short operational period of the company and limited production numbers contribute to their scarcity in the replica collector's market.

While specific information about the quality of Fusav di Bini & Baronio firearms is limited, they were likely similar to other Italian-made replicas of the time. These guns were often considered affordable alternatives to higher-end reproductions, appealing to enthusiasts and hobbyists who couldn't afford more expensive options
